Sacred Muse The Process

As i look at my desk  it is full of half painted paintings and sketches yet to be something.
I have alot of ideas on what i thought i wanted to paint but when i sit down to do the work , im frozen.
Im starting to realize that I was beginning to take my art in a direction that doesnt nourish or convey what it is im experiencing or seeking to experience.
So then when i sit down and let it come to me naturally not pushing the circuit and just being in the flow this is when the Magic happens.
Its really nothing i dont already know but sometimes we artists must make things that we are asked to create which is a wonderful feeling but when its all done its good to go back to the real flow of our true work.

This is the ice breaker painting for me.

Getting back to my natural flow of creativity.

I dont paint reality, realism a structured reality close to what we already experience on a day to day basis.
When we open our eyes in the morning we see this"reality" and we live it.
All to different degrees but I cant paint this realism, its not that i cant, my self wont let me, if thats understood?

There are so many worlds lost and magic forgotten due to this.
SO many place to be brought back to life, the world of myth and magic.
Where all things are possible,bright, beautiful and mystical and above all meaningful.
Thats the problem with the world, we have lost what is meaningful and choose to fill our lives and world with meaningless notions,ideas,dogma and work.
This is what i crave....I dont know about you ?

Ashley is 20 years old and was diagnosed with Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor, a rare form of cancer two years ago. She went through chemo, radiation, surgery and a stem cell transplant. She had several good months with good reports only to find out in the past couple of weeks that the cancer is back.
This time in her lungs and spine. Unfortunately, her body is at its limit and not much can be done at this time. Money being raised is to help her enjoy a few of her dreams along with seeing Hollywood for
a few days.
She may not be with us long, although we are still praying for a miracle.

Since she is too old for the “Make a Wish Foundation”, the benefit is to raise money to help fulfill her wish to go to Hollywood and see the “stars”.

The benefit will have food, karaoke, and many raffle prizes including 4 Tires from McMahon Tire and a Futon from Wolf Mattress Company. Everyone 21 years or older is invited to come out and help “make a dream come true”.

I miss Autumn

As I have many projects piles up on my desk I close my eyes for a moment. Our inner cycle just knows what season it is.Wile Im in a tropical climate , I can still feel fall...Im deeply in love with this season ....Autumn inspires me with its enchanting presence....crisp air....hoodies.... burning leaves....cold noses...magic just seems to be afoot...
Sometimes i just wait for that breakthrough project that suddenly turns everything around.
I get painters block sometimes....When all I seem to paint seems so far from what Im really trying to project...I think I have found my breakthrough project that will lead me through the other side of this painters block, will post this project once it is finished :) I wonder what everyone else does when they reach a block in their creativity? For me Dreaming and waiting till it comes seems to work...

Todays Inspiration

I have a few new babys waiting for their birth on my desk.

I sketch my ideas out first then I paint them, so i may look at them for a day or so to get ideas on colors and concepts on what will fit each painting.

I pick a concept that Im currently feeling at the moment then i sketch it out and then it begins.

This spider web keeps growing everyday, I feel bad because they have a colony going on and I dont want to disturb them. 

Spiders Webs are very Inspiring and beautiful.

New Studio Still UnPacking

After relocating a few thousand miles over the ocean it has taken allot of time and yard sales to re stock my resources. Just now getting a space set up resembling a studio.
Cant wait for a more permanent space!
I really miss my trinkets that inspire me, they are back "home" in boxes piled up on each other.
My inspiration tables,fabrics,faries,shells,statues and weird natural finds like,deer horns,dead butterflies,bees and old broken robin eggs.....
At least I have my necessities, although you may not know, I LOVE frivolousness!

Blue Eggs

I love the wonder that Im taken over by when peering into a nest full of perfect eggs just waiting to be hatched.
Eggs have always fascinated me since childhood. I still love to pick up along the sidewalks broken hatched eggs. The baby blue in this painting is symbolic of the innocence of new life that is just sprouting.

Getting things togeather

Well, i have been super duper busy the last few months and really unable to get everything together on my site and blog.
Im getting ready for my lift off and will be coming out with my clothing line and grass roots campaign ... Traveling across country bars, coffee shops boutiques , hair salons, tattoo shops you name it  Im going there!
